Are you Ready to Learn this school year?
Ready to Learn is a reading program led by NextLA members whose mission is to help students improve their reading and social skills to prepare them for academic success and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Volunteers and the first grade students of 49th Street Elementary gather once a month to practice reading and engage with one another. Every session includes one-to-one reading time, group reading session, related art project and a group lunch. We are so thrilled to announce the dates for the 2018-2019 school year.
